From Frustration to Purpose: Why We Created Our Skincare Line

This company started with a simple frustration, buying products from the store and not being able to trust what was actually in them.

For years, I dealt with lotions, soaps, and skincare products that were supposed to help but instead left behind irritation, rashes, or breakouts. It didn’t make sense. If something is meant to care for your skin, it shouldn’t make things worse.

That experience pushed us to look deeper into what we were putting on our bodies every day. The truth is, your skin isn’t just a protective barrier, it’s more like a sponge. It absorbs a large portion of what you apply to it, meaning the ingredients in your soaps and lotions don’t just sit on the surface. They can enter your system. That realization changed everything for us.

We are a husband and wife run company based in Wyoming, and that dynamic shows up in everything we create. Formulating products together can be… entertaining. One of us will be drawn to something rich, grounding, and deeply nourishing, while the other is convinced it needs to feel lighter, cleaner, or completely different altogether. Finding the middle ground isn’t always easy—but somehow, that balance is what makes our products what they are.

We never set out to build something that felt corporate, distant, or overly polished. That was never the goal. From the very beginning, we wanted this to feel real like something made by actual people who care, not a brand hidden behind a screen. Everything we do is rooted in our life here in Wyoming, in our home, and in the values we actually live by. We want it to stay personal, because that’s the only way it feels right to us.

We wanted better not just for ourselves and our family, but for anyone who cares about what they’re putting on their skin. That’s when we started building our products using premium oils, essential oils, clays, and other naturally derived ingredients. A large portion of our line also relies on grass-fed tallow and goat’s milk: two traditional, time-tested ingredients known for their skin-loving benefits. Tallow is uniquely compatible with human skin because its fatty acid profile closely mirrors our own natural oils, allowing it to deeply nourish, moisturize, and support the skin barrier without feeling synthetic or heavy. Goat’s milk brings its own gentle power, rich in vitamins, minerals, and natural lactic acid that helps support skin renewal while keeping things soft, balanced, and calm.

Together, these ingredients allow us to create products that are simple, effective, and genuinely supportive of healthy skin. No unnecessary fillers. No harsh chemicals. Just thoughtful formulations made with intention and care. Every product is something we would proudly use on our own family first and that standard hasn’t changed.
